About these terms
Ginger Web Hosting is a trading name of PUBSEARCH LTD. These terms cover services purchased through Ginger Web Hosting. Your order and agreed service scope identify the package, price and billing period. Please contact our team if any detail is unclear before ordering.
Hosting and acceptable use
Hosting storage is for websites and related content within your subscribed package. You are responsible for your content, permissions to use it and maintaining your own software. Unlawful material, copyright infringement, phishing, spam, terrorist content and abusive or discriminatory content are prohibited. Breaches may result in suspension or termination without a refund.
Shared hosting resources are shared between customers. Unmetered bandwidth is subject to the practical capacity of the shared service. If your website needs dedicated resources, we will discuss a suitable move with you.
Backups and availability
Our published service policy provides full server backups every 24 hours, stored on external servers. You remain responsible for keeping independent copies of your website and data. Technical incidents, maintenance and network outages may interrupt availability. Refund requests for prolonged outages are considered under our guarantees.
Domains and certificates
Domain registration is subject to the applicable registry and registrar rules. Domains are registered for the period selected at ordering and are non-refundable. Our published renewal policy asks you to renew at least 14 days before expiry; late renewal can lead to interruption, additional fees or loss of the domain.
SSL certificates are subject to the issuing authority’s requirements. You must supply the requested validation and technical information. Confirm installation arrangements and any additional costs before ordering.
Support and website work
Existing customers request support through their customer area. New enquiries are handled through our private contact form and replies by email. AI chat is not currently active. Service scope and response expectations are confirmed for your package; a submitted ticket does not guarantee immediate resolution.
WordPress maintenance and routine edits are limited to the agreed scope. Custom development, new websites and other additional work require a separate quotation.
Payment and renewal
New subscriptions must be paid before activation. Services are billed in pounds sterling. Applicable taxes and charges are shown during ordering. Renewal invoices are generated 14 days before the due date and must be paid before renewal.
Under our published hosting renewal policy, unpaid accounts may have control-panel access suspended after seven days and data permanently deleted 30 days after the service due date. Other services may expire without renewal. Contact us through your customer area before the due date if you need to discuss payment.
Cancellation and refunds
Request cancellation in writing through the customer area. Refund eligibility and exclusions are set out on our guarantees page. Domain names are non-refundable; shared hosting has a published 30-day guarantee and SSL certificates a published 21-day guarantee, subject to the stated conditions.
Your responsibilities
Provide accurate account information, keep contact and billing details current and ensure you have authority to act for the organisation you represent. Fees remain payable for an active subscription even if you have not uploaded content, unless cancellation has been agreed.
